Green star communities
Green Building Council Australia engaged Waterfield to help facilitate clarity, agreement and decisive action across eight enterprises to develop a National Framework for sustainability.

Background
Government Land Organisations, agencies, universities, professional bodies, and key stakeholders from the built environment all came together to form a framework. A national uniform guide to assist states and territories plan, design, build, maintain and review sustainable communities.

Waterfield designed and facilitated an outcomes driven workshop consisting of 45 individuals from various organisations to gain consensus on an agreed national model.
The outputs included the five key principles the Green Star Communities Framework would adhere to.
Outcome
Agreement achieved between all state and territory Government land organisations; this was the first national agreement between eight agencies of this style.
